Accommodation

Anyone who is keen to camp is welcome to stay in the wedding location, the Theater-in-the-Pines Group Campground (for free). We have booked it for the nights of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It has potable water and vault toilets, but no showers, electricity, or RV hookups. We will be renting a generator, however, which you can use to charge your devices and so forth, and for anyone who wants a real shower before the wedding ceremony, we will have sign-ups available for time slots in our (or our family's) rented cabins/hotels nearby; you are more than welcome to share those facilities!

For non-campers, there are several options nearby:

• Hotels in town: There are various options a short drive away in Orem and Provo.
• Sundance ski resort: In Sundance, which is within walking distance (1.5 miles) of the campground, there are various accommodation options associated with the ski area. From what we can tell so far, it seems like these usually are more expensive than a normal hotel room, but also hold more people. We are hoping that prices will be lower in the off-season, but only time will tell.
• Airbnbs: There are also some Airbnbs within walking distance of the campground (or, of course, in town). Like the ski resort lodging, these mostly hold more people than a hotel room and cost more, but maybe the prices will be lower later in the year.
• Right next door to the campground is a "family camp" called Aspen Grove. People unaffiliated with their programs can reserve accommodation, subject to availability, within 30 days of their reservation. We have no idea if this will in fact be available in August, but since it's so conveniently located we thought we should list it!
